HAUNTED LOVE #3 / Tomb for Two

IN STORES this Wednesday, April 6th-- it's HAUNTED LOVE #3! Yes, screams a charm as the third and finale fright-filled issue of IDW’s hair-raising new hit misery-series, HAUNTED LOVE concludes with a gag-gle of gruesome guys ’n gals ensnared in shivery tales of love and romance gone horribly awry! Seven macabre matches most definitely NOT made in heaven-- and here we have a FULL STORY preview of the first terrible tale from the issue-- an awful Tomb for Two, originally presented in the March 1952 issue of Journey into Fear #6. (WARNING: HAUNTED LOVE is not recommended for lovers of long walks on the beach, soft music, or candlelight dinners.)

Yes, again, an annoying comment that I'll be reading this on Wednesday, but I will add congratulations on this very successful series. I've really enjoyed it!

Well you probably already read it anyway when I first posted it here about 7 or 8 years ago... let us know what you think of the new issue!

This story is perfect for the series. Yugh. I like to imagine how the skin of a taxidermied lass would brown and harden like a salted mummy (or perhaps a football) over the course of a few months. How it would pull tight against the stitches and cotton batting. Pull away from the dental alginate and the wooden armature. There's a reason most stuffed animals have pelts.

So, any plans for an upcoming Haunted Love hardback?

Warning--I'm about to make a very bad joke.
His wife's name was Elsa huh? After her death, he just couldn't let it go!

The one thing that doesn't work in my case is your warning. I like some of the gushiest romantic stuff you could imagine, but I like HAUNTED LOVE as well.
